Review: Baby Bjorn Babysitter Balance

This bouncer is awesome!
And I got it free (a gift from sis & bro in-law) = DOUBLE AWESOME!

This bouncer would be best used for babies 0-6 months. The soft movement of the bouncer will put the baby to sleep faster than lying on the floor or at least soothe them from crying.

We love this bouncer not only because it is practical, but it makes our traveling easier. It is lightweight and does not use up lots of space. Good for small house and car boot like ours  :D

Although the fabric looks thick (not the one in the picture) but it feels cool even in hot climate country like Malaysia.It is easy to remove and washable too.

Its base is equipped with silicone pads to avoid skidding. But of course, it is still unsafe to put the bouncer on the table! Nanti jadi Angry Bird pulak... TOING! hahaha~

The bouncer is adjustable to 3 position, from reclining (perfect for napping) to upright (perfect for people-watching).

We can bounce the baby to sleep while sitting on the sofa or dining too.

And yes it is not cheap. RM699 if you buy it from Mothercare Malaysia be it on SALE or NO SALE. But it worth the money.
After trying this bouncer when we had our first nephew, I have been aiming to have this bouncer for my baby too. Lucky us, we got it as a gift!!!

 Aimi would stick her tongue out and let the wind blows. It makes her mouth cold haha.

Papa bought Aimi a Pool!!

Papa bought this pool @ Toys R Us when we were in JB during weekends. So Aimi had lots of fun playing in the pool with her cousins.

This is Qaireen Irdina. Aimi's lil cousin who was born 2 months after Aimi.

 The biggest one in the pool is Irfan. And his lil brother, Irshad.

 Aimi had to wear the cap to avoid water from getting inside her ears!

Homaigad look at Qaireen's tummy. She is heavier than Aimi even though she is the youngest among all in the pool :P

I have nothing to complain

Aimi never wakes up in the middle of the night asking for milk so far. Since she is 3months old. And now she is 7m+.

Alll three of us sleep soundly from 10pm till 7am (but of course Mama & Papa wake up for Subuh prayers :P) If she wakes up crying, it is just because she lost her pacifier :P

I am not sure whether it is ok if she doesn't drink her milk at night. I asked the doctor about her current sleeping pattern and the doctor said at this age, if the baby is hungry then she will cry asking for milk. So i have nothing to worry, kan?

Aimi consumes 650grams of Enfapro per week at home - which costs us RM61.70 per week. But sometimes we have to buy 2 boxes of milk per week to supply her needs at the nursery.

I would scold her if she doesn't finish up her milk. I said every ounce count. The milk is expensive (TT_TT).
I know she wouldn't understand this but.. haihhhh~

Hmmm, I don't want to complain about her milk price.
It is my responsibility to provide her the best milk I could afford. Since I don't give her my breastmilk nowadays, why should I complain about the expensive milk I have to spend my money on? Kan?

So, I wake up early in the morning to cook her porridge and apple puree for her to bring to the nursery. Hoping that she would reduce her milk intake since she started having solid food for lunch and breakfast. Hoping one box of milk can last for a week and a half at least! :P

And ohh, I am willing to spend money on buying her good diapers which so far I find = MamyPoko. She wears PetPet during days in nursery because they change her diapers frequently, so she only wears MamyPoko during night time.

She doesn't cry in the middle of the night because the diapers keep her dry. Wohooo~ If she sleeps soundly, so can I!
MamyPoko stays dry as long as 12 hours (based on my experiment so far). I LOIKE!!!

Constipation

Aimi had constipation last week, thanks to Mama's new menu rice porridge with potato, carrot & too much anchovies. Doctor said, maybe too much carbo. (rice + potato)

Kesian Aimi, meneran bagai nak rak tapi tak ada pun poop yang keluar.

Two days constipated, we brought her to the clinic to get some medicines. Ada yang oral intake, ada one more macam tube with liquid to be inserted into anus and squirt.

Once the doctor squirted the first tube, Aimi instantly make her pooping face. But with no luck, nothing came out. Kesian, sampai dah nangis-nangis.

After one intake of the oral medicine that night, Aimi got better. The next morning, her stool was not as hard as the one before we went to the clinic.

So now, I have changed the menu for her to bring to the nursery.

For the first day, I cooked rice porridge with 1:2 ratio of white:brown rice with no additional vege.
Brown rice is known for its fibre & vitamin B.
And I steamed 2 apples in the microwave and blended to perfection for her snack time.
I squeezed some blackcurrant and put them in the some-kind-of-fruit-holder for her to chew on.

Her stool become softer after 1 day.

Today I made her rice porridge (same ratio as day 1) but with very little carrot.
I blended the steamed apples with a little bit of carrot too.
Not forgetting the blackcurrant for her to chew on.
