The one who's learning to stand

She just won't sit down once we get back to our house from her nursery in the evening.
At least she has shown some interest of getting on her feet!
I am just worried she is too lazy to learn to walk. LOL.

The one with Papa's new bike

Papa just bought a new motorbike, a Honda CBR250r!
Aimi just loveeeeee it when we bring her along for the evening ride.
She would say.. Da! Da!

LOL

Mama.. help meeeeeeee~ :P

The one with the swing

We went to KLCC last few weeks and brought this little munchkin to KLCC Park to play at the playground.

Well, maybe next time we can come again when she can walk :P
InsyaAllah.

The one with Baju Raya

Aimi's baju raya is pink colour this year.
We tailor-made our baju raya using the same pattern of fabric, that was 3 months before Raya!
Luckily, the tailor is so experienced that when Aimi put on her baju raya, it fits her nicely.
Not too long, not too short.
Phewwww~

Since she can already ate solid food, we had nasi impit with soto soup that raya morning. And Aimi lovessss nasi impit with soup since then :)
That was me feeding her nasi impit with soup lah tuuu....

She looks a bit girlish in pink, isn't she?
Poor papa, he had to wear pink baju melayu that Raya morning too :P

The one with so little hair

Parenthood Expo 2012 @ Midv

Almost everyone who saw her at the Parenthood Expo @ Midvalley last weekend thought that Aimi is a boy. I don't blame them. She does look like a boy at a glance, that's why I put on her Hard Rock romper+skirt hoping some people might realize that she is a girl.

Apparently, my attempt for that, failed :P

Rusks all over her face
One of the Jusco salesperson laughed when she saw Aimi's hair. Haha. That is one of the reason why some thought this baby is a boy! She has very little hair and all of them are pointing upwards. Like she is electrified! HAHAHA sorry Aimi but Mama cannot tahan from laughing lar :P

Her original hair have been shaved on the 7th day after she's born. And until now, after 8 months plus her hair is just like in the photo!

I have no idea how to make her hair thicker or at least bend sideways.

Having a baby girl, of course I am excited to buy dresses and headbands for Aimi. But I am holding all back. Her Papa won't allow me to buy Aimi headbands.. because she would look funny with it. I agree, coz having very little hair and wearing headbands will make her look like this: FUNNY.

And dresses.

Not until she knows how to walk. My personal opinion, it would be wasteful if making her wear dresses when she is still lying and rolling. The dresses won't look as nice as in the catalog lar :P

It's ok Aimi. Your hair will grow as nice as mine (perasan) just that they need a lot of time.

Langkawi Trip

Aimi's first flight - to Langkawi!

Sun bathing at Pulau Payar

Almost ate the sand! And she drank the sea water too :P

Ride the SkyCab (cable car) at Gunung Mat Chincang

Slow and steady

Compared to her friends around the same age in the nursery, Aimi is wayyyyy behind the schedule.
I mean her milestone.

She is now 8 months. The others are now moving forward and started crawling but Aimi, still rolling to her sides.
And there is a very advanced baby (2 months younger than Aimi) has passed crawling stage and now started to stand! The baby actually started crawling at the age of 4 months. I bet by his age is 8 months, he might be able to walk :P

Ok back to Aimi's development, I admit that I am kinda worry bout her. At this age, she should at least move forward but she still can't. I am not sure if she is just too lazy to move her big belly forward or she just don't know that she is able to do that. I thought, if she sees all others kids moving around the nursery, that would at least trigger her curiosity to move forward too.

But I thought wrong.

I know that every baby is unique and should not be judged just by what the books say. But I did read somewhere that the mother should monitor the baby's development by milestone so she can detect any abnormalities earlier. This is what making me worry. I am afraid that there is something wrong with her.

Let's pray that she will learn how to move forward soon.

Maybe she thought, "If I can move around just by rolling to my sides, why should I learn how to move forward?"

HEHE.
