The one with bad constipation

Last weekends were the worst of her constipation.

Since we have given her the enema for her constipation problem last 2 weeks, we were not keen to give her another shot of enema last weekend.
Coz it's not good to give enema too often, which I read somewhere that it's gonna cause bowel problems when the baby grew up.

FYI, Enema is some kind of liquid to be squirted inside the anus.

So we patiently waited for her to slowly pass motion.
And yes, she was actually terrified of pooping, cause she thinks that it's gonna hurt her so much when the poop peep out.

What happened was, every time she felt the urge of pass motion, she will squeeze her legs so hard that the poop won't come out!
And she cried and cried till she fell asleep.
When she woke up, she had the urge of pass motion and cried! again!

When this happened, Win grabbed her two feet and hold her so that she is in squatting position. When I saw the first hard stool peeping out, or at least 1 inch of the poop is out, I snapped the stool to break it and squeezed her anus gently so that the rest of the hard stool is out.

Phew.

That was as much as I could do to help her.
I admit, I scolded her for being too scared to poop. As in scolding with yelling.

But how else should she know that 'tahan berak' would only make her stool harder for being too long in her anus?
Harder stool = It will hurt more!
The body will eventually absorb water from the stool cause she consumes too little plain water.

Haih.. but yeah she is only 14month, what can I expect.

So when I told my sister bout this, she suggested to feed Aimi with formula milk which is meant for constipation. So I went to Caring pharmacy last nite to get this.

ihsan Google

Let see if this Novalac IT works.
Will write the review soon.

The one with Kawai Kanyu Drop C20

I am worried about Aimi getting cough and flu too often, so I told Mak.

Mak suggested I should consider giving Aimi something like Scott's Emulsion to improve her immune system, coz that was what Mak did to my Abang when he had the same problem when he was little.

So I went to Guardian, looking for this Scott's Emulsion, though I was very reluctant of giving Aimi something made from the liver of a fish & full of sugar.

However, when I ask to the salesgirl about the Scott's Emulsion price, she promoted this Kawai Kanyu Drop instead.

She showed us that this supplement is in jelly form, so it would be easier for Aimi to consume. She even tried to feed Aimi the jellybean-looking-vitamin and Aimi liked it so much!

Maybe Aimi thought that it is a candy :P

This supplement basically provide Vit A, D & C.

From my research, the jellies do not contain animal source and they are safe for vegetarian. Which I think, should be halal for us Muslims too.

Don't just trust what I wrote here, do your own research, ok?
Bye.
